This is my take on Dominos Bread Bites. They’re basically twisty bread sliced further into bite size bits. Oven baked and tossed in that twisty bread sauce. At home these are usually made up as a side dish when making pizzas. Additionally, you can top these off with freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano and serve with the trio of pizzeria dips (Garlic Sauce, Pizza Sauce, Donair Sauce) or a fourth, more of that twisty bread sauce.
Ingredients for Bread Bites
12 inch Pizza Dough, Cornmeal, Twisty Bread Sauce(Garlic Sauce (Butter, Oil, Garlic Powder, Butter Popcorn Seasoning, Citric Acid) & Pesto), Parmigiano. Flour as needed to sprinkle over the top if the dough is sticky.
How to make Bread Bites
The Overnight Pizza Dough is used to make these. Use a 454g medium pizza dough and flatten it out and shape just like you would with twisty bread. Even slice them like you would twisty bread getting about 6–8 strips. Then turn them around to slice in half and each half in half again to get a total of 24–32 pieces.
Transfer to a pizza screen, pan or roasting pan and bake at the highest setting your oven will go for 7 minute sin the middle rack position. Flip them over about halfway through.
If you’re just looking for the Bread Bites by themselves as a side dish. Without going through the process of making a big batch of pizza dough. Pick up store bought pizza dough. You can preheat the oven while thawing the dough. The Twisty Bread sauce itself comes together pretty quick.
Bread Bites Sauce
My recipes for Bread Bites comes in 3 different flavors. Garlic Sauce Bread Bites, Garlic Butter Bread Bites, and Pesto Bread Bites or Twisty Bread Sauce. Which is either Garlic Sauce or Garlic Butter mixed with Pesto and perhaps a favorite.
Homemade Domino’s Twisty Bread Sauce
An easy combination for the original Twisty Bread Sauce Dominos used to offer for their twisty bread is to combine Garlic Sauce or Garlic Butter with Pesto to get Twisty Bread Sauce. Use a 1:1 ratio of Garlic Sauce or butter to Pesto or 2:1 of either to make it more Garlic butter forward or more Pesto dominant. Entirely up to you.

Saucing the Bread Bites
Place the desired amount of sauce into a stainless steel bowl to await the Bread Bites after they come out of the oven. Add them in to toss and use more sauce if needed. Then plate and optionally add cheese on top. Save the remaining Sauce for more Twisty Bread or Bread Bites later on, or serve the sauce on the side as a dipping sauce.
Cheesy Bread Bites
Freshly grate some Parmigiano on top. You can also include some Romano or a three cheese powdered blend of Parmesan, Romano and Asiago cheese.
Dipping Sauce
Serve with the trio of pizzeria dips (Garlic Sauce, Pizza Sauce, Donair Sauce) or a fourth, more of that twisty bread sauce.
