This is my take on Dominos Bread Bites. They're basically twisty bread sliced further into bite size bits. Oven baked and tossed in that twisty bread sauce. At home these are usually made up as a side dish when making pizzas. Additionally, you can top these off with freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano and serve with the trio of pizzeria dips (Garlic Sauce, Pizza Sauce, Donair Sauce) or a fourth, more of that twisty bread sauce.
On a cornmeal covered surface, place the medium pizza dough on top. Flatten out and shape into a rectangle. Slice 6–8 strips and then slice across the middle, cutting each strip in half. Then slice each half strip in half again. You should get about 24-32 bite size pieces.
Transfer them to a pizza screen, pan or roasting pan and place into a preheated oven at 550F for 7 minutes in the middle rack position. Flip them over or mix about halfway through.
Transfer the bits to a bowl with the desired amount of Twisty bread sauce and toss to coat well. Empty unto a plate or container and top with Parmigiano.
