Cream Cheese Toast is a nice light lunch or snack to have and is made with toasted sourdough bread slathered with butter and cream cheese. Optionally with everything bagel seasoning sprinkled over the top and can include sliced cucumbers for a toasted cream cheese & cucumber sandwich. You can do the same with everything bagels slathered with herb & garlic cream cheese. Optionally with sliced cucumbers.

These are sourdough breads we pick up for $1.50 CAD each at Save-A-Lot grocery. I believe they go for $2.99 or slightly higher at local grocery stores. We usually pick up a bunch to freeze and take them out one by one as we need them. These are sturdier or denser than regular bread and are really good for Cream Cheese Toast.

Butter the toast first, then use either plain cream cheese, or herb & garlic cream cheese. Mix the top layer to loosen up the cream cheese to make it easier for spreading.

Everything Bagel Seasoning

Use everything bagel seasoning to add some flavor by sprinkling it over the cream cheese spread. While I have my own proprietary blend, any good everything bagel seasoning will work.
