Bet on yourself and start the day with a Bet Breakfast. Consisting of Crispy Bacon, Eggs & Toast slathered with Butter. It’s a pretty simple hot breakfast that can be prepared in about 15 minutes.
Bacon
Line a baking sheet with tin foil and lay out the bacon strips. Into the oven in middle rack position and then turn the oven on to 400 F. Optionally Crack some Black Pepper or sprinkle Brown Sugar over the Bacon.
They will finish cooking in about 10 – 15 minutes. I find about 13 minutes is pretty good and 15 minutes closer to the being burnt stage. You can also cook for 10 minutes, then refrigerate and finish crisping the next day. Drain the grease and reserve for other uses.
This method frees you up to use the Stove top for other things. As well as being able to cook more bacon at once. I usually just do the whole package of bacon up. Refrigerate any leftover bacon slices for other things like Bacon Bits, Sandwiches, Burgers or Hot Dogs.
Thick Cut Bacon
Eggs
Have the Eggs any way you want. My go to for this are either Sunny Side Up Eggs or Scrambled Eggs seasoned with Salt & Pepper.
Lightly scrambled eggs is where you barely scramble the eggs. It gives a nice visual on the natural Yellow and White in the Eggs. Adding a Tablespoon or so of Cottage Cheese is also a nice addition.
In both cases, whether you make Sunny Side Up or Scrambled Eggs. You heat the butter up in a Skillet over medium heat. When the pan is hot but the butter not browning, you add the eggs and cover with a lid. Shut the heat off but leave the pan on the burner. The residual heat will be adequate to cook the eggs through.
BET Breakfast
With Cloudy Eggs & Sour dough Toast.
Toast
One of my favorites is English muffins or Sour Dough Bread. Although, you can use any bread you desire.
Just toast them up and slather with Butter after the Eggs are done. This way the Breakfast Plate can be served hot.
English Muffins
English Muffins seasoned with Everything Bagel Seasoning.
Salt & Pepper Seasoning
Use the Salt & Pepper blend to season the Eggs. Other ingredients can be added to shape the Flavors. Parsley & Aleppo are very nice for garnishing.
