Deli Mayo
This Deli Mayo is an amazing deli spread or sauce that is used for all sorts of things and very similar to the lumberjack spread. It makes for incredible sandwiches! Easy too; just mix the ingredients together and set aside until ready to use.

Ovensub Buns
Any good 12-inch sub bun can be used here. Slice them half and place them on a baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 450F with the rack in the middle position or slightly higher and butter the buns.

Deli Chicken Trio Meats
The deli meats used for this ovensub are roasted deli chicken, beef bologna, and salami. Use 3 full slices of chicken breast per sub on the bottom sub bun. Slice the bologna and salami in half, using 3 pieces per sub. The top sub bun is just buttered and toasted; it will later be topped with cold sandwich vegetables.

Cheese used for Chicken Deli Trio Ovensub
While this recipe uses shredded cheddar cheese, you can opt for other cheeses of choice. Either shredded or cheese slices, sliced in half, can be used. The cheese is placed right on top of the meat.

Toasting Ovensubs
Place the tray into the preheated oven for 4-5 minutes to toast the subs and just melt the cheese. After these come out of the oven, they’re ready to be topped with Deli Mayo and sandwich vegetables.

Ovensub Cold Toppings
Spread on the desired amount of Deli mayo on the now toasted top sub bun. Then add the desired amount of thinly sliced onion, sliced tomatoes, and finally shredded lettuce. Flip over the top bun onto the bottom bun with meat & cheese. Slice in half and serve right away.

- As Needed Butter
- 6 Slices Deli Chicken Breast
- 3 slices Deli Ham - sliced in half
- 3 slices Deli Salami - sliced in half
- As Desired Shredded Cheese - Cheddar or other kinds
- As Desired Onion - thinly sliced
- As Desired Tomato - sliced
- As Desired Lettuce - shredded
Deli Mayo
- 1/2 C Mayonnaise
- 2 Tbl Yellow Mustard
- 1 Tbl Pickle Juice
- 1 tsp White Sugar
- 1 Stalk Green Onion - minced
- 1/2 tsp Celery Salt, White Pepper, Onion Powder, and Garlic Powder - each, 1/4 tsp to 1/2 tsp of any one or all of these, adjust to taste
Instructions
- Deli Mayo: Combine the Deli Mayo ingredients together in a bowl and mix. Set aside until needed.
- Ovensub Hot Ingredients: Preheat the oven to 450°F with the rack in the middle position or slightly higher. Slice the sub buns in half and place them on a baking sheet. Butter the buns and top with deli chicken, bologna, and salami. Top with either cheese slices or shredded cheese and place into the oven for 4-5 minutes until toasted and the cheese is just melted.
- Ovensub Cold Ingredients: Spread Deli Mayo on the top buns and top with the desired amount of onions, tomatoes, and finally lettuce. Flip the top sub bun over the bottom bun. Slice in half and serve right away.
