Toastizza is Pizza on Sliced Bread that gets toasted in the oven with Pizza Sauce, Cheese and Toppings. It’s a rather quick and easy Pizza Recipe. Just heat the oven to 450 F and Bake for about 5 minutes. You can lay a bunch of these on a baking sheet and cook in one go.
Bread
I usually just use standard white bread. Switch it up with a wide variety of specialty breads. Use Sour Dough Bread or Thick Cut Breads, even using French Bread or small french loaves or Baguettes for Mini Toastizzas.
Toastizza Sauce
Standard Pizza Sauce goes on these, although you could brush with Garlic Butter to give it some extra flavor before you sauce the pizza.
You could also switch things up with any Sauce and Toppings, such as Caesar or Ranch Sauce with Chicken.
Pizza Cheese
Use a mix of Mozzarella and Provolone Cheese at a ratio of 3:1 maybe some Cheddar Cheese mixed in as well depending on the type of Pizza.
The Provolone really gives this a nice flavor and helps in browning.
Pizza Toppings
Use good quality toppings. They really do make a big difference. For the Pepperoni, for example, I use the below. It’s a superior Pepperoni perfect for Pizzas.
Other than that, any toppings or combination can be used. Meat lovers, Chicken Ranch or Chicken Caesar, Steak, Canadian Classic, Hawaiian, Vegetarian etc…
Everything Bagel Toastizza
Sprinkle on some Everything Bagel Seasoning on top.

- 1 Baking Sheet
Ingredients
- 8-10 Slices of Bread
- Garlic Butter - Optional
- Pizza Sauce
- Mozzarella Cheese Blend - 3:1 Mozzarella to Provolone
- Your Choice of Toppings
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450 F. Prepare your Toppings, Sauce and Garlic Butter if using.
- Lay Sliced Bread out unto a Baking Sheet. Brush with Garlic Butter and then Pizza Sauce. Sprinkle Mozzarella Cheese on and Top with your choice of Toppings.
- Place into the oven for about 5 minutes. Optionally Broil the Top if needed. Garnish with a Pizza Shake, Everything Bagel, and/or Parsley, Chili or Aleppo Flakes.
