Taco Seasoning

JAH Taco Seasoning to make a variety of dishes any time for Taco Tuesdays. This Seasoning blend is bold and rich, with nice heat and mouthfeel. The Ground Beef is cooked Taco Bell Style to get that consistency that is associated with Taco Bell or other Taco Outlets. Serve it up on Hard or Soft Shells with your favorite toppings.

Product Information

I created my own blend which is not yet available, but anywhere it states to use Taco Seasoning you can swap with the popular brand Old El Paso. Below are the instructions for Tacos and links to other recipes that use the seasoning.

This is a Mild blend to which additional heat can be added for your preferred level of heat. Add in Jalapeños, Chiles, Hot Peppers, Black pepper, Red Chili Flakes, or Hot Sauce.

Ingredients

Paprika, Sea Salt, Starch, Herbs & Spices (including Onion, Garlic, Cumin), Sugar, Citric Acid.

Instructions

1. Combine 1 lb. of Ground Beef with 1/2 C of water & 3 Tbl of Oats. Mix well until the meat is paste like and the water is fully absorbed.
2. Fry in a skillet over medium high heat, mixing often, until the water has evaporated. Reduce heat to medium.
3. Add 3 Tbl of JAH Taco Seasoning & 2/3 C Tomato Juice. Cook for 3 – 5 minutes.
