Mild Mayo Sauce or MM Sauce is an All-Purpose Sauce made from a combination of Hellman’s Mayonnaise, Red Greek Sauce, and Sriracha Sauce for some heat. Add more Sriracha sauce to your preference, or use your favorite Hot Sauce.
Mayonnaise
The mayonnaise of choice here is Hellmann’s Mayo. Miracle whip I suspect would already contain too much acidity in it.
Red Greek Sauce
Just a small amount of premade Red Greek Sauce goes into the Mayonnaise and creates the undertones in the sauce. If you don’t have this already made up, head over to the recipe Red Greek Sauce to make it up. It only takes about 10 minutes to put it all together.
The leftover Red Greek Sauce is excellent with grilled Meats, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Sausages, Gyros, Meatballs, and even meatloaves.
Hot Sauce
The Hot Sauce used for this recipe is Sriracha Sauce. This can be exchanged with your favorite hot sauce. A small amount is added for a nice and pleasing heat. Add more, If a spicier sauce is desired.
Mild Mayo Sauce Add Ins
For an extra Twist on things, depending on how you are going to use the sauce. You can add some Lemon/Lime Juice, Yogurt, Sour Cream, Aioli/Toum, or Tzatziki Sauce.
The below recipe is a Quick & Easy way of making a sauce that is excellent on Shawarmas, Gyros, and other foods.
How to store Mild Mayo Sauce
I store the sauce in a Squeeze Bottle in the Fridge. If you don’t have a squeeze bottle. Use an empty Mustard Squeeze Bottle or something of that kind. Make sure it has a lid to cover. It lasts a pretty long time stored in the fridge and is ready to use whenever the craving hits.
It will stay good in the fridge for over a month or two. Always use your best judgment. If in doubt, toss it out. I never had to do this since I always use it up and this batch is relatively small.
If making this with Homemade Mayo, I would keep it in small batches on a need-to-need basis. Since Homemade Mayo spoils faster than commercial.
