This Copycat Red Marvel Boneless Chicken Wings came about after trying Chicken Plus Red Marvel Boneless Chicken Wings. This is an incredibly spicy dish and so addictive. You bounce back and forth between taking a few bites and then, oh that’s enough. Before you know it, the heat wears off, and you’re looking for it to come back. While I do believe this is an incredibly close recipe. The heat is tone down much more, and that may be good for those who find the Red Marvel Boneless Chicken Wings too spicy. Although with this recipe, more heat is added in the form of Chili Oil and can include minced Hot Chilies to reach the same heat level as the Red Marvel. Customize the heat to your level, and enjoy some Homemade Red Marvel Chicken Wings.
Red Marvel Fried Chicken
The Red Marvel Fried Chicken is a Korean Fried Chicken dish offered by Chicken Plus and is an incredibly spicy dish, yet so very addicting. It’s served with a Cheap mayo white sauce and rice cakes along with other items and is a generous serving, meant to be shared.
After having this, I set out to replicate it at home, but with more control over the heat. I was so surprised on how close I got and had to share. It is such a solid base to work from and creates really beautiful Chicken Wings. Whether it’s Bone in Breaded Wings or Boneless Chicken Wings.
Copycat Red Marvel Ingredients
This recipe brings together 2 recipes to create the Copycat Red Marvel. Boneless Chicken Wings & Yangnyeom Sauce, with Oil for deep-frying.
White Sauce
The White sauce I haven’t figured out yet. But when I do, it’ll be posted here. I was so excited to share this, and I knew I had something good, I figured the white sauce I will eventually get. From what I can tell, it is a mayo based sauce with bits in it, perhaps Parmesan, and is meant to tone the heat down a bit.
Boneless Chicken Wings
The Boneless Chicken Wing recipe will walk you through on how to chop into pieces, marinate, bread and deep-fry the wings.
Red Marvel Sauce
The Red Marvel Sauce or Yangnyeom recipe will walk you through on how to prepare the incredible sauce with the desired amount of heat to await the wings when they come out of the fryer.
Saucing Red Marvel Boneless Chicken Wings
With both the Boneless Chicken Wing recipe & the Yangnyeom/Red Marvel Sauce prepared, all that is left is to deep-fry the wings and toss in the sauce. You want good coverage to coat every boneless wing. The Yangnyeom sauce is enough to coat 4 Chicken Breast worth of Boneless Chicken Wings. Keep tossing it around, scooping up the sauce and over to get complete saturation.

Red Marvel Boneless Chicken Wing serving size
If serving just the wings, then about 15 pieces or 1 Chicken Breast per serving is good. If serving with Fries or Rice, then you can cut the serving in half, only requiring 1 Chicken breast for 2 servings or about 7–8 pieces per serving.

Sides
Either French Fries or Rice makes for an excellent accompaniment for these wings and allows you to stretch out the Wings to get more from them. Chicken Plus serves them up with Rice Cakes/Tteokbokki, Fries or Potato Wedges.
Although sometimes, nothing beat having just a full serving of Copycat Red Marvel Boneless Chicken Wings. Maybe eating half, and then snacking on the rest throughout the night.
