The JFC Chicken Burger is in the Style of a KFC Big Crunch. Consisting of a Marinated and Breaded Popeyes Style Chicken Breast. Deep-Fried and served on a Butter Toasted Bun. Topped off with Lettuce, Pickles, and Mayonnaise or Mild Mayo Sauce which is really good too. Add some Sriracha for Heat, either directly to the Sandwich as a condiment or right in the Popeyes style marinade.

Equipment
1 Deep Fryer
1 Marinating Bowl
1 Breading Bowl
1 Skillet
Ingredients
4Hamburger Buns - with Sesame Seeds
2Chicken Breast - Sliced into 2 Fillets each, 1/2 inch thick
Prepare and cut the Chicken Breast so that you end up with 4 Chicken Fillets about 1/2 inch in thickness or thinner and slightly larger than the Hamburger buns they are going on. Pound them out to an even thickness all the way through.
Combine the ingredients for the Popeyes style marinade and add the Chicken for at least 1 hour, removing it from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking. Heat up the Deep Fryer to 325 F — 350 F.
Remove each Chicken Breast and place into a bowl with the JFC Breading. Gently toss about 20 times and then shake off excess breading.
Deep Fry for about 10 minutes. Lift the Basket out of the Oil and stand the fillets up to drain off any excess Oil. Remove and allow to rest 5 minutes while you Toast the Buns.
Butter and Toast the Hamburger Buns in a skillet over medium heat and assemble.Bottom BunChicken BreastPicklesLettuceMayo or Mild Mayo Sauce on Top Bun, optionally with a bit of Ketchup.
Notes
The Breaded Chicken Fillets can also be sliced into strips for Crispy Chicken Wraps. Any leftover Breading can be used to make JFC Gravy for Fries on the side, or to freeze the made up Gravy until needed for other recipes. Leftover marinade can be used for JFC Cauliflower Bites or JFC Onion Rings.
