Tender Crispy Butterfly Shrimp marinated in Popeyes style marinade then served up Crispy in our Frickin Good JFC Breading. Serve it up with some Fries and Dipping Sauce to turn this into a JFC Shrimp Platter.
Place the Shrimp in a Bowl of Water and thaw completely. This will take about 10 minutes. Peel the Shrimp, leaving the Tail on or not. Place the Shells into a Ziploc bag and freeze for other recipes.
Combine the Marinade ingredients and marinate the shrimp on the counter while the deep fryer is preheated to 350 F.
Place JFC Breading into another bowl and add the Shrimp in two batches. Gently toss about 20 times.
Place the Shrimp into the Deep Fryer Basket and lower into the Oil. Give the basket a shake so that the Shrimp don't stick together. Deep Fry the Shrimp for 2–3 minutes, or longer for Jumbo Shrimp. Set aside and repeat for the second batch.
