Beans & Bologna is a wonderful homestyle meal that is made up of fried bologna and molasses-baked beans. I like to include a bit of homemade sauerkraut and serve it with sliced buttered bread or a dinner roll. It's a cheap, quick weeknight meal too, ready in less than 30 minutes.There are other similar derived dishes such as Saube (sauerkraut, sausage & beans) & Beans & Hotdogs, which is also served with sauerkraut and optionally sliced buttered bread or dinner rolls.

Ingredients
4-6SlicesBologna
2-3TblFat - rendered pork fat, bacon grease or lard
Fried Bologna: Heat a skillet up over medium heat with fat. Season the bologna with salt & pepper if desired and fry to the preferred doneness. Transfer the fried bologna to a plate. Optionally plate with some sauerkraut as well.
Baked Beans: Add the baked beans to the hot skillet and heat through. Plate and serve with sliced buttered bread or dinner rolls.
