Turkey Gravy Biscuits is a very nice dish that is like the hot turkey sandwich except we use biscuits instead of bread. You need leftover turkey over sliced biscuits and the leftover turkey gravy ladled over top. You can include a frozen vegetable mix of diced carrots, onions, and green peas too.
Biscuits: Prepare a batch of biscuits or reheat previously made biscuits in the oven at 350°F. Remove from the oven and slice in half. Optionally butter the biscuits.
Turkey Meat: Weigh out about 1 lb of leftover turkey meat and chop into smaller pieces, if desired. Place water and butter in a skillet over medium heat and add the turkey meat to heat through. Season to taste if needed with salt & pepper. Top the biscuits with meat.
Turkey Gravy: In the same skillet, add leftover turkey gravy over max heat. Add water to adjust the consistency and heat through. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Optionally add in diced onions and cook in the butter until softened before adding in the gravy. Frozen vegetables can be added too.
Serving: Ladle hot gravy over top and serve right away.
