Ingredients
1English Muffin
1Egg
1portionMeat - Sausage, Bacon, Spam or Deli Meats
1SliceCheese - Cheddar, Velveeta or other cheese
Salt & Pepper to Taste
Instructions
Cook your Choice of meats in a skillet over medium heat until done. Drain any excess grease. Meanwhile, Toast & Butter English Muffins.
With the Skillet over medium heat and an Egg ring in place with some butter. Crack an Egg into the Ring, Break the yolk, and season with Salt and Pepper. Add 1 Tbl of Water and immediately cover with a Lid. Shut the heat off but leave it on the burner for about 3 minutes.
Assemble the Breakfast Sandwich with Meat, Cheese & Egg and serve or wrap in waxed paper for later.
Notes
If making a bunch of these, wrap them in waxed paper, place them into a large Ziploc bag, and freeze them. Later, these can be taken out the night before and reheated in the microwave for a few seconds.Wrapping in the waxed paper also has the effect of steaming the McMuffins together, creating a softer English muffin just like you would get at McDonald's and the same for their burgers.
