Notes
Fat: If using lean ground beef, add 1-2 Tbl of fat. Otherwise, medium-ground beef or regular ground beef will contain enough fat. Saucy Taco Meat: Don't mix in the taco seasoning at the start. Instead, add the taco seasoning and 2/3 cup of tomato juice after browning the meat. The taco seasoning will thicken the tomato juice a bit and create a saucy taco meat mixture. Still add the 1/2 cup of water to mix with the ground meat before cooking, along with lemon juice and bouillon cube. You can also opt to add in to taste either canned chipotles in adobo sauce or adobo sauce after browning the meat. Burrito Meat Mix: Add an entire can of refried beans to the taco meat after cooking and mix in well to make ground burrito meat.
