Prepare the same way you would with Broccoli. Chopping the stem off and break or cut into bite size pieces. One Cauliflower Head is a decent amount for four sides.

Wash well and set aside until ready to steam.

How to Steam Cauliflower

Place water into the Steamer set and bring to a boil over max heat. Once steaming, add in the chopped and washed bite size pieces of Cauliflower. Steam until tender to your liking, about 8 minutes. Pierce with a fork to check the tenderness.

When removing the Basket to empty into a bowl. Strain out any excess water and give it a few seconds to air dry before emptying into the bowl to season with Salt & Pepper and toss with Puck Creamy Dairy Spread or various other Sauces.

Place enough water into the bottom pan to cover about 1 inch over max heat with the steamer basket and lid on top.

How long to Steam Cauliflower

Steam bite size Cauliflower Florets for about 8 minutes, a shorter time for crisp tender, longer for softer. Check the tenderness by piercing with a fork at the 5-minute mark.

Once the Cauliflower is steamed perfectly tender, transfer them to a bowl and add some of the Puck Creamy Dairy Spread.   • 1 Steamer Set
  • 1 Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 Head Cauliflower
  • 3-4 Tbl Puck Sauce - or more
  • To taste Salt & Pepper

Salt & Pepper Blend

  • 1 Tbl Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp White Pepper

Instructions

  • Prepare the Cauliflower by chopping into bite size pieces and washing well. Set aside until ready for the steamer.
  • Place about 1 inch of water into the steamer set and heat over Max Heat.
    Combine the Salt & Pepper blend and set aside.
  • Add the Cauliflower to steam for about 8 minutes, or until tender to your liking. A bit shorter for crisp tender and a bit longer for softer. Use a fork to check the tenderness at about 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, add the Puck Sauce or other choice of Sauce into the Bowl you will use to toss the Cauliflower.
  • When the Cauliflower is ready, remove the steamer basket and strain out any excess water. Let the Cauliflower air dry a bit, just a few seconds.
    Transfer to the Bowl with Puck Creamy Dairy Spread, season with Salt & Pepper and toss the Cauliflower to plate.

Try it with Steamed Broccoli!
Broccoli takes less time to steam than Cauliflower, so steam for about 5 minutes. Pierce with a fork to check for tenderness. Steam shorter for Crisp Tender, or a bit longer for Softer.
